Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering injections and providing exceptional patient care. This role is essential in delivering high-quality medical services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety protocols. The Nurse Injector will work closely with patients to assess their needs and provide appropriate treatments in a professional and caring manner.

Duties

• Administer various types of injections, including vaccinations and therapeutic injections, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the appropriate injection techniques and medications.

• Maintain accurate patient records, including ICD-10 coding for diagnoses related to injections.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

• Provide education to patients regarding injection procedures, potential side effects, and post-injection care.

• Assist in urgent care situations by performing necessary procedures such as spinal taps or gastric lavage when required.

• Ensure compliance with occupational health standards within a Level II Trauma Center environment.

• Participate in family planning discussions as part of holistic patient care.

Skills

• Proven experience administering injections in a clinical setting.

• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding relevant to injection procedures.

• Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication.

• Familiarity with urgent care protocols and practices.

• Ability to perform specialized procedures such as spinal taps and gastric lavage.

Pay: $55.00 - $85.00 per hour
